powerful and unlike any other industry, the Recruitment and
Retention Committee is responsible for the growth, recruitment and
incubation of life science and biotechnology-based companies.
Members will also work with local companies to assist with
expansion plans. In order to attract new business investment, this
committee will focus on workforce and capital development, as well
as other business concerns.
OBJECTIVES

develop and attract talent to the region, particularly scientists
and engineers creating new knowledge pipelines.
- Promote actions that will lead to new business development and
partnering opportunities in the life science and biotechnology
community.
- Identify developers in the industry who can potentially invest
to help recruit new companies to the region.
- Identify synergies; determine who to chase; find elements to
help connect the dots for companies in this sector.
- Connect with individuals and companies, such as University of
Central Florida's Technology Incubator, Alexandria, EFI and
ISPE.
- Assist in commercialization and technology transfer of
intellectual property from academic and research institutions,
emphasizing commercialization to regional companies.
