• Foster inter-institutional collaboration
• Inventory core facilities and equipment
• Assist in the recruitment of top-level scientists to build a critical mass
• Develop a needs assessment, from the scientific perspective, for spin-off companies
• Develop an inter-institutional incubator system
• Communicate with other bioOrlando Committees to provide a scientific perspective on their efforts and goals
